The Edexcel Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for Wales and Northern Ireland (QCF) is the required qualification for registration and regulatory requirements in the social care sector in Wales and Northern Ireland. Learners must take nine mandatory units, and then have a choice of optional knowledge and competence units covering different areas of health and social care such as supporting person-centred approaches, advocacy, health care, supporting those with disabilities, learning disabilities or dementia.
