Barbican Development Services has been in operation since March 1999, offering qualifications through Edexcel. We specialise in QCFs in the areas of Health and Social Care and Management, and have had a excellent record of candidate achievement and quality assurance. We strongly believe that candidates need support in order to achieve their awards and most of our work is done on a one to one basis.
The Owner, Barbara McDowell, originally trained as a teacher of children and adults with special learning needs, and has been involved in training young people and adults since 1984. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Training and Organisational Learning, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personel and Development and a Member of the Institute of Learning and Management.
Internal Verifiers and Assessors are fully qualified and have recent experience in the workplace. They are fully committed to assisting the candidate to achieve their awards and offer a supportive service to assist them in doing so.
